The Dragon's Head books tell the tale of a young girl living during a time between old and new.

the realm of the High King.

These books do not belong to the fantasy genre.

There are no flying, armor plated, fire breathing reptiles.

Instead they tell the story of Merlin's challenge

to mentor a young girl who, favored by the Norse gods at conception,

was also given what gifts the Celtic gods could bestow.
